Gerber Edge... Colors not sticking, What am I doing wrong?

I'm having issues trying to print red on top of the chrome (silver medal)... its not sticking.
What am I doing wrong?
Its the old gerber edge

How do you make colors stick to the previously printed layer?

The Gerber Medal Series foils are strictly top layer and cannot be overprinted with another foil. I am attaching the Gerber Product Bulletin that covers use of this series of foils.

yeah, we learnt that the hard way! you won't get anything to stick to the silver/gold medal.....just won't happen.

How do you make colors stick to the previously printed layer?

For overprint jobs with chrome colors use the foil from Gerber Silver Medal II is a overprintable metallized foil.

You're gonna have to change your print order and knock some stuff out.
It seems we all have learned this the hard way...
