Gerber GS15 Plus & USB to Serial. Any problems? Any recommendations?

I'd like to use my Dell laptop to run my GS15 Plus but serial/COM ports seem to be a thing of the passed on current PCs! There's no Serial/COM port on my laptop so I'm considering using a USB to serial convertor.

Does any have any experience of these working with the Gerber GS15 Plus?

Unfortunately it won't work, just buy the correct adapter from Gerber, will save a headache.
