Getting exact print costs from FB500/700

For anyone that is using the FB500/700, how are you getting your final exact print costs? are you importing the csv file from the printer into a spreadsheet or using another alternative? I'm testing cost proof in Caldera now but don't like the fact you have to set the printer to "Print" instead of the "Save" option I normally use.
