Ghost stripes?

One of our customers asked for a sign with ghost stripes on it. Anyone familiar with those? We have never done them before and while we may have the equipment/capabilities, we aren't sure how to go about it. Any advice would be appreciated!

Are you referring to a solid background with semi-transparent stripes over the solid color? Sorry if I do not understand.

you can do a matte stripe overlay

If it is digitally printed, you can use Lens effect in Flexi or set opacity to 50% in Illy or PhotoShop.

So, we could use something like a translucent graphic film overlay to get that look, right?

I did this one. printed on matte, then contour cut gloss overlam and applied.

if you just want a ghost, I would use matte lam onto gloss, but I can only guess at what you are trying to acheive

Or buy a UV printer and use the Gloss Emboss options
