Golf cart color change price....

Just for comparison...
I installed a stripe for a custom truck builder customer with their own paint booth today.
He did in fact laugh at this story and estimated painting a golf cart easily over $1000...it would cost him $200 just to buy the paint for it before figuring in any money or time for prepping, removing the panels, sanding, masking, painting, hoping it dries properly without microscopic fly poop on it that the customer notices right away from 20ft and needs to be buffed or sanded and resprayed, reassembled, etc, and on and on.
He does very nice work on trucks. I got the impression it would be closer to $2000 if I didn't know him.
