GoSign Issues and Alternatives?

Love my Summa cutter, but the software is TERRIBLE across the board. Everything looks crazy dated, even by printing software standards and I keep running into constant issues trying to use GoSign. Wanting to do thru-cut and kiss cuts on the same piece and there's no real easy way to get VinylMaster to do it.

Currently the issue is getting the thing to add my cutter. Cutter control recognizes it just fine, but GoSign just flips out and doesn't know what to do with it. Cutter is an older S120T (first generation) and don't really have an interest in buying another Summa.
Anyone else run into this issue?

Gosign doesn't support the old Sclass.
Either use Winplot, or another software like SAI for cutting or a RIP for print cut workflows. (The original Sclass was introduced some 20+ yeas ago...)

Ahh, WinPlot is even worse. Guess I am looking at another cutter.

Winplot is fine. Less complaining and more cutting.

Show us the Summa Cutter control Main screen here. Is the latest firmware installed? Does it reads valid Serial Number?

On VinylMaster, need to Choose Tool5 or Tool6 for the layer or Color, you wish to PerfCut. I do not have VinylMaster front of me to show where exactly the setup, but it must be easy.

Will poke my head in and try that later today, Vinylmaster's documentation can be pretty marginal and their Summa stuff feels like an afterthought.

As for firmware, checked yesterday and had latest. Shows valid S/N and I can apply settings and change profiles in cutter control.

Tool 5 seems to be FlexCut from documentation I can find. In VinylMaster Summa cutters have tool selection disabled, at least on this model.
