I have a computer tech guy trying to get my new computer to run the plotter. The cutting master works great from AI on my current 32 bit vista computer, but cutting master does not run on a 64 bit. The next attempt we are doing is to run from the serial port. I still need the plug in to work and run the plotter from AI. Before I buy more cables and stress out even more about this... Has anyone encountered and solved this problem? Graphtec tech support says using the serial port may work, but they are unsure, and don't know if I will have the handy cut option in the pull down file menu, but a driver for the 64 bit is in the works, and the soon to be released windows 7 may even bring on more conflicts.
