Graphtec CE5000 Speed

Hi,

I've been using a Graphtec CE5000-60 for about 6 months now and I use both Robo Master Pro and the Cutting Maser 2 plugin for Corel Draw depending on the application. Most of the time, I need to cut my material at the slowest speed setting. As a result, the cutter will only move the slowest speed as it orients itself to the material width and between cuts. A few months ago, I was able to choose some setting that allowed the carriage to move at full speed while the cuts will be at the minimum speed. The issue is that I had to reset the factory defaults and now the machine has reverted back to moving at the slowest speed at all times. Does anyone know of how I can adjust the settings in order to make it move quickly again?

Thanks!

After a month of Graphtec support telling me it wasn't possible, I think I finally think I've figured it out. In the printing preferences for the CE5000 you can uncheck the "Sorting" option. This causes the carriage to move at full speed unless the blade is actively cutting, during which, the speed will be what is specified in the cutting options. I wonder what "Sorting" is actually supposed to do. I hope this helps.
