Graphtec Cutting Master 4 with Illustrator 24 on Windows 11 not working

We just had to upgrade computers to Windows 11, which led to installing Illustrator 24. The issue is we can't get CM4 to work with it well. It crashes Illustrator during opening. We can right click to close error windows and Illustrator will continue to open and CM4 will work but it's causing AI to crash several times a day. We tried upgrading to Cutting Master 5 but our FC8000 plotter is not supported.

Has anyone figured this out?
