Question Graphtec Experts!

I have an old FC 5100-75 I'm using to make pounce. patterns for murals.
Last time I used it things went great, but now CM 2 can't find any cuttable objects. I work in photoshop, save as a .ai file but some step is missing. I've tried saving in every Illustrator file type but still no good.
Any suggestions for this dinosaur? (besides upgrading to a new plotter)
Thanks for reading.

Are you saving the Vector layer to AI or the Image? If not saving the Vector, You need to vectorise as silhouette in Illustrator to create the path for the cutter. It has nothing to do what cutter do you have.

Knows just enough to get in a lot of trouble..
Exactly what Attila said. It won't read raster images as cut lines, needs to be vector.

Thank you. I use it seldom, but this is a big help.
