Graphtec FC 8600-75 - CutCountour vs FlexiSIGN Pro vs Illustrator

The situation:
The FC8600 is set up via USB into a computer.
Plotting via Flexi. (Cut/Plot icon)

I got the Graphtec Cut Marks plug in for illustrator working.
I can now generate the correct scan marks.

The problem:

I have used the exact same plotter at some other company a while ago.
They never had Flexi, just illustrator.
I remember an Illustrator plug in window where I would click an icon.
And the FC8600 would start looking for the 1st scan mark.

What are the steps in Flexi to use the CutContour & scan marks?
Or do I have to use the Illustrator plug in?

I did install Cutting Master 4 but it requires a log in & password via Graphtec.
I know I never had to log in for the Illustrator plug in we were using.
Was it just an older plug in?

If you're creating registration marks in Illustrator, you need to cut from Cut Master. You could try importing it into Flexi and use the Rip And Print button to send the job. Just select the Send Cut job only (I think it's on the plotter tab - working from memory this morning). It may work. But like Attila says, create an account with SAi and just use CM4 for the entire workflow.
