Graphtec FC 9000 cutting force is getting worse

Hey, iam using a Graphtec FC 9000 with a Holder/Knife Setup for thick Vinyl. Iam producing Motocross Graphic Kits. But since some weeks, even if i change the Blades the Cutting Lines are getting random. So the Cutter cuts some ways very good, then stops and getting really really sloppy to cut through.
My first thought would be the Teflon Strip. Could that be some Problem? Its a little bit worn off. Or which Problems or Signs should i watchout for.

Greetings

If you have a groove in your cutting strip, replace it. It's 20 bucks and surely pays for itself in one avoided mistake on a print. You'd be surprised some of the issues it can cause, for me it tends to get stuck in the groove when the plotter pulls up to move to the next cut, so it adds an extra cut connecting two letters, often times screwing up something between the two.
If that doesn't just fix the issue, I'd reckon it could be the mechanism wearing out, but I haven't really heard of one slowly going bad, more of a it works or doesn't kind of issue.
