Graphtec FC9000 cutting Laminated reflective vinyl 15mil thick

I have graphtec FC9000. Started cutting laminated reflective vinyl 15mil including backer. It offsets 1/8" the outer cut outwards on second last cut.

Length of cutting decal is 40-42"

Outer pinch rolers, strong, inner two on medium force

cutting speed 20

if i change material to anything less than 12 mil, all good.

using 60 degree blade

No offset changed, evrything same, just material is thick

Any help is really appreciated,

If it is a printed piece, be sure to put masking tape around the cropmarks so the eye can read it correctly - not unusual to have reflective or other shiny vinyl cause a miscut due to light causing the unit to see the cropmark off. I would also increase the pressure on the middle two pinch rollers - weight can cause slight slippage which is more noticeable near the end.

Thnx signheremd

yes its printed, I dont have masking tape.

I tried printed another smaller sheet (30" length) and 25" wide

I increase the size of marks from 0.012 to 0.02 inches

I change the Scan mode to 4 and it cuts a little better but didnt do a perfect.

i even check the mark scan offset by priting on same reflective sheet and laminate it too, just added 0.004+ to x axis and -0.0004 to y axis to move cut to middle of printed pattern.

IS anybody aware of registration marks specs for scan mode 4, because i use the marks 0.012 thick and 0.5" wide, but not scanned in scan mode 4

thnx again for replies
