GS 15 Start position, where is it?

I am running an old GS15 (not Plus) and for the life of me I don't get where this thing "STARTS". I am sending from Flexi 7 it shows 0 point in the lower right... but when I send the the cutter it takes off not from there. Seems to vary?

Does pushing reset set the start point at the location of the cutter head?

Is there any way to change the 0 point?

Just got the thing, cuts fine, but I am never sure where in is going to call 0/0?

I cut to a GS15-Plus using a either Signlab or Omega . . .

Position the tool carriage at the bottom near the keypad, 0/0. Then send the cut info.
