GS6000 head height lever

I used to be able to use my GS6000 on the lower setting for thinner media. After a few years I can no longer put it into that position without head striking. Any ideas?

There's not really much reason for you to start seeing more headstrikes over time other than a buildup of ink around the printheads. When was the last time you cleaned the underside of the carriage?

Thats odd. I clean them regularly, they are very clean. But even at the low setting, it's touching the thinnest of media.
