I have an older roland and due to illness and treatments I have not used it for sometime. Almost a year. I have a disc and cannot get the program to load properly. I do not know if chemo has ruined my brain or what the problem is. I load the program and do not get communication between the machine and software. I looked at the driver and get a message to uninstal the driver. am not able to accomplish this not sure what I am doing wrong. Help please.
I am running windows vista home service pack 2

what cable connects the pc to the machine?
usb, parallel (36 pin centronics with "wafer") or serial (9 or 25 pin d-sub ) ?

don't bother uninstalling & reinstalling that NEVER HELPS & mostly makes ADDITIONAL PROBLEMS and makes it work slower,when the actual problem is resolved
