Hand Made Pin Stripe Brushes From Long Gone Grandpa

I thought fellow pin-striping enthusiast would appreciate seeing these handmade brushes.
Family lore "says" Grandpa, Percy LeFeuvre, was the last person to hold the tittle of sign painter at Fords. Handles are made from feather shafts, crimped metal, plastic straws and some reused old brush parts. Not sure what fur/hair the various bristles are made of. Knowing Grandpa, They could have come from any varmit that got into his shop in the garage. Raccoon? Squirrel? Groundhog? :)

Those are definitely a keepsake and a good memory of how things use to be. Not too long a go you needed to be a jack of all trades person to be a sign maker.....artist...sheet metal bender...welder etc. . Now all you need is to know how to cut a 45 degree angle, follow directions from a kit and work a computer. Thanks for sharing
