Has Anyone Used MacTac Glass Decor 700?

I requested and received a sample of MacTac Glass Decor 700. It has about the visual characteristics I'm looking for. However, it was a nightmare to install and the final results aren't what I want. Confusing the issue is the fact that the sample was crinkled/creased in the mail on its way to me. So..

1) Is Glass Decor 700 just a pain to work with?

or

2) Is crinkled vinyl just a pain to work with?
