Help, can I put a JV33 printhead in a JV5?

Dear friends, I have to swap two printheads on the JV5. The JV33 printheads looks the same, but they're way cheaper. Any of you knows if I can put the JV33 printheads on the JV5? I did the test with Epson 4800 and 4880 printheads, but the printer doesn't recognize them.

I was told they were the same heads.

I was told that by the sales guy.

Take that for what it's worth.

I was under the impression they were just standard Epson DX5 solvent heads. The 48XX heads would be the aqueous series heads.

Thanks Rooster, here in Europe, the price of JV5 printhead can double the JV33 printhead's price.

Anybody has tried them?
