HELP....Flexisign Pro 7.6v2 & Valuejet 1204

I need help please. While I was out my bosses bought Flexisign 7.6 v2 off the internet, it does not have my VJ1204 on the list of printers or my Bridge Pro720. Right now they have it set for RJ 8000 50 (FalconII) I'm not getting the right colors. I know the RJ is water-based and my VJ is not. But does anyone know how I can get the right profile? Or 1 that will work?

This version of flexi and your printer will never work quite right. I don't believe SAi supports that version of Flexi anymore, in any case your printer is newer than that program (current version is 8.6). Download a color test print to use as abenchmark for comparing different profiles then keep testing till you find something close, then tweak your color one job at a time.

Try to explain this to the owners. The cost of your time is far outweighed by the small savings they gained with this purchase.
Its like trying to dig a ditch with a spoon, you could do it, but you'd probably rather not.

Oh, and contact SAi, you never know, they may be willing to help!

Are you sure you can't download the updated profiles from SAi's site??

If FlexiSIGN 7 does not have the drivers for the ValueJet printer line (I don't recall at what point the ValueJets became supported in Flexi), your best bet would be to upgrade the FlexiSIGN to the current version. That would provide the correct driver, as well as media configurations for various media products.
