Help ghosting print issue Seiko CP 64s

Hi! I run a CP64s and recently have begun to see strange ghosting in my prints. On most prints in the first foot or so a line of the graphic will be printed in one color (usualy Lc or Lm, but ive had K and Y too) anywhere from a few milimeters to an inch below where it is supposed to print. I found a few posts by other users with a similar issue and it was suggested that it could be a SCSI issue and the remedy was to change the SCSI speed from 160 to 40, which I did to no avail. Does anyone know of a solution to this issue?

1. Check the bi directional alignments
2. Replace the "trailing cables" from the carriage board to the main board (rubbing in the frame can sometimes cause the cables to fray on the edges)
