Help! Inkscape with SignCut to ProCut CR630 issues

Hello Everyone!

I am very new to this and I am having some issues with getting everything to communicate.

First I can design in Inkscape (actuallu, type some text) then save it as .eps file.

Then I open Sign Cut and open the saved file.

Then it happens, nothing goes to the cutter, no flash on the cutter or anything. Should'nt the cutter atleast make some noise (other than the fan) upon power up.

I bought this stuff used and I believe all is good, just getting frustrated and need help. Windows xp by the way.
