I have a pc 960 and recently had my old laptop crater.... so long story short I had to use my other laptop with no serial connection. I have bought the serial to usb converter changed the settings and did a test cut... went great. Then I went to cut more than one letter and by the time it hit letter 2 the plotter decided that it was hitting the road..... it did a long vertical stroke and came back again. I am not sure if my settings are wrong but I have tried several combinations with no luck. Please any ideas or advice would be great.
