I know color management...profiles...etc, is a deep subject.
Not wanting to get into deep on this...just hoping someone
can answer this specific question.

If I have color correction off...at the beggining of the print...it looks like my print is going to be great...
but then...the ink starts laying down really thick (seems to be mostly the black), and continues to go really dark.

All printheads are good etc, just had serviced...not a hardware issue.

using FlexiSign Pro 7.6v2

Is there a way to back off the ink being layed down per channel (C, M, Y, K)....??

I've tried adjusting (lowering) the slider under the color section
....it helps...but starts to mess with the colors.

Thanks! :smile:

***UPDATE: Adjusting the sliders will have to work....it's just a toss up between
getting spot colors and photos to match / look the best. :)

Color management is a combination of the following:

Individual Ink Limits/Densities
Linearization
Total Ink Limits
ICC Profile

Without color management applied, you are running "wide open" with your CMYK. So technically, you're laying down 400% Total Ink Limits (100% of each CMYK). You're printing without cutbacks and wasting your ink.
