Help ! ! ! Sheet set error set again

i know there is a topic on here somewhere about this problem. I am 99% sure you need to change the ribbon cable that connects the printhead to the mainboard.

Sometimes when you get this error, the carriage cable has a broken wire in it. It will separate when the head travels to the left side of the machine.

Try moving your left pinch roll to the next right position and see if you still get the error message. [head doesn't have to travel as far to the left]

If you don't get the error, more than likley, the cable is bad.

We nursed ours along for about a month before we got a chance to shut the printer down abd change it.

Sheet set error could also be the pinch roller sensor not working. 9/10 times this is the Cut Carriage Cable... Replace the clear mylar guides as well.

1 - Cut Carriage Cable and Guides
2 - Pinch Roller Sensor on the bottom/backside of the cuthead
3 - Cut Carriage Board
