The main board on my VP540 might be toast... I am wondering if it is toast, can i use a mainboard listed as a SP540?
I am aware that I will need to flash the information into the new board and it is not as simple as just switching them out.
All I want to know is can I use a SP540 mainboard in my VP540 machine if worse comes to worse... please answer/reply ASAP
UPDATE: I might be wrong... but I found a picture online... it looks as though a SP540 mainboard supports only 2 printheads-- 1 for Black and Cyan and 1 for Magenta and Yellow... my VP 540 has 4 printheads... 1 for each color ink.... but please give me more info... i am not sure if this is the case in fact.
