Can you help me identify the type of silver material that is on this podium? thanks in advance for your help

Doesn't look like vinyl, just based on the fact that it's built like a stencil it's probably something rigid, potentially even some stainless they had water jet cut. Or perhaps a rowmark type material cut on an engraver.
