I used to get my rolls from Gans, they stopped producing media a while back and bigfishDM (Josh) on here started selling most of their portfolio. This stuff has worked well in my 560, running 12 pass I believe. I think he still does sample rolls.

I've never seen it. 500 is faster than 300.

Take a good video about it, let's see how it goes. Print with a generic and get the screen as well.

You don't have it showing "Non-HP ink" do you? Aftermarket ink could be reason.

I have a latex printer and I will print some graphics on perforated, I have Hexis and will share the outcome later today or tomorrow.

... I maybe mis-remembering an old post... didn't someone say the BL perf was just rebranded GF perf? I am asking here as I cannot find the reference I think I am remembering.....

I have run quite a bit of the Briteline as well as some generic from Kelly/Spicers through a 700w without problems.

Sorry the video isn't great but I got this about a month ago while both the 360 and 560 where running. And what you can see in the video is the typical behavior that we expect out of each machine. One is running vinyl while the other is running poster paper but both are on 12 pass. Before someone else tries to say that we aren't comparing apples to apples here, I realize that these are different medias using different profiles and you should expect some differences. However this video is a good example of what we get out of the 560 even if both machines were running the same media, same profile etc.

The 560 is always so slow! After the jobs in this video were finishing running, I ran the numbers and the 360 was printing around 150sf/hr while the 560 was closer to 75sf/hr. Nearly half the speed! Crazy huh? We got this machine in 2020 and its always printed like this. We have ruled out the network being an issue.

Also we have never used aftermarket ink. Always HP Original Ink. Any feedback would be appreciated.

If that had been the case then I dont think we would have had instant success after switching from BriteLine to General Formulations. We have never gone back. Happy with the GF. Material always seems to be consistent. Also I don't know if we have ever tried going back to using the 80/20 configuration (which was a big part of all the problems we had) but I'm not 100% sure. The general consensus in this thread seems to be to turn down the heat and tweek it.

Try using max vacuum on your printer some rips let you make adjustments, also keep in mind that some medias react to moisture in the air so whatever is exposed to the environment which is the paper liner on this case will cause waves reacting to the heat, so basically you will always waste about 10" to 12" at the beginning of your print, most brands of window perf will try to jam with the carriage, also always use your media holders with window perf

Turn down the heat 175 - 185
Turn up the vacuum.
16 pass
90% color.
Intervals delay 200 - 400
Feed the material through the heaters about 4"
Take vinyl tails (scrap) and use strips to secure perf in middle and ends to take up reel.
Saves a lot of perf - Grimco Briteline 7030.
