Help with Bezier tool

When using the Bezeir Path tool in Flexi how can you make it change directions without extending the point you just put down.

Like in Photoshop you would Alt+Click the last point.

When you lay down a point and drag it it extends the control arms and makes the node a symmetrical node. Before laying down the next point, click on the extended control arm and then press the Control key. You can now move the arm independently and the node is changed to a cusp.
