Help with files

Ok I have a customer who sent me In-Design files as well as PDF's. The In-Design files I can not open says missing plugin's. The Pdf's seem to be freezing Flexi. It's opens and I can see the artwork. But when I go to zoom out or click on anything. I get the Flexi not responding messages. One file is 1.26MB and the other is 627Kb. any suggestions.

Customer did these in InDesign 6 she's saving as 4 and sending back to me. Hopefully this helps

Have you tried saving the file after opening it in flexi?
Or maybe import the file into corel, and resave it from there.

If the new CS4 file doesn't work i'll try that next.

Now she called and said she doesn't see how to save it as an older version. saving as a JPEG and try that. I'm trying to open and save the file then reopen it.
