Thanks so much Fred. Would you happen to know if there are any other free fonts that are similar to Charter Oak?

I've always thought Charter Oak was ugly, somehow... and I can't imagine why anyone would bother to create a version for free distribution.

Still, though... we had Charter Oak on our IVB and again on our Sprint II and I did end up using it alot...

Charter Oak is fairly unique in that it is a weighted, oblique sans serif font. I'm not much on free fonts. Quality is erratic and many are just renamed ripoffs from the original versions.

Think there was a movement of the earth around Lake Worth, Fl this afternoon.

So did I and we used to use the hell out of it. Being weighted, it can be stretched or condensed moderately without looking like it has been.
