Help with HP Latex 335

Hi,
I just cleaned my encoder strip today.
Later today when I wanted to make another print and changed my media. The printer head keeps slamming against the far left side during start up and then throwing an error code 42:03
Anyone have any advice.

Take the sensor out and clean it.

Do you have instructions or a manual on how to take the sensor out?

Remove the right cover, disconnect top cables from the carriage PCA to tilt it backwards, remove sensor

I'll give that a try.
What is the best method of cleaning the encoder strip and sensor. Just water, or 70% Isopropyl alcohol?
