I have a customer who applies our decals to equipment that is freshly painted with a baking process. So the decals are apparently applied with the metal being still hot to the touch and this melts the clear application tape to the decal. The decal seems to do OK just not the tape.
They really want to have clear application tape if possible because it helps them line up the decals better. Does anyone have an idea if they make a clear, low tack application tape that can stand up to the high temperature? If I can't locate something that will work that is clear, I will just use the regular paper application tape. However, if there is something that is available that is clear and will work on hot surfaces, then I want to make them happy.
Thanks in Advance!
