Question Holographic Lamination or vinyl?

A customer is wanting the holographic effect as shown.

We have not seen the decals in person, only the provided image
This looks to be done on an edge printer.

• Can this effect be done with a Roland Eco-Sol?

I think that your first assumption is correct it looks like they were edged onto the holographic material. As far as doing this with a roland... not sure. I know 3M make a holographic wrap film that you might be able to put through your printer but I'm not sure. You best bet would be to probably outsource it.

Kind of hard to tell from the picture, but it could conceivably be printed on holographic vinyl. We print holographic perf on our Roland.

- 2831 Brite Overall vinyl

Exactly what ProColorGraphics said. We've done it with a VS-540 in the past. Just don't cut too close to the printed part. I think R-Tape suggests 5mm to prevent curling.
Laminate is pretty much a must. This material scuffs easily.
