how can I stretch this?

I'm trying to stretch this text out to the guides yet keep the inner and outer text path a circle. For the life of me I can't figure out how to do this in either flexi or illy.
I'm trying to vectorize something that looks to me like the text was stretched.
Any ideas?

when you say strech it out do you mean keep the text in the same but strech the top?

Simple really, in Illy, just highlight the text, then in the character dialog box increase the text height till it reaches your guides, done!

To stretch it in Flexi you would increase the text height to what you want and then reduce the with percentage to get the amount of stretch you want.

Tried that in illy and the text went further than I wanted on the path.
Guess I was doing it wrong - have to try again.
