How do I get VW job preview to show again? (see pic)

The Job list pane rarely displays the graphics of the job anymore. Not sure why but it started not showing it about six months ago. Resizing, restarting, re-importing etc doesn't make it appear. What gives?

You sure it's not some box that needs to be checked? Something in view or preferences
