How long does Matthews catalyst last

Matthews says catalyst only last 2 weeks after opening. Does anyone have experience using an open can of catalyst longer?

yes, just put the cap back on .

I once called matthews about this - they said it is 2 weeks for a reason, but could be used for a few weeks thereafter (kinda like sell-by dates at the grocery store)

@ 1 year old I KNOW it doesn't work as intended, but I have used it 4 weeks after opening and it seemed fine.
