How to change pounce offset on fc8000?

I have a FC 8000 with a new pounce attachment. I am trying to figure out how to spread the holes apart in the pattern. The instructions are crap....

Go to condition.Press 2 ,change tool to Pounce,then select 3 (Width) and change
settings(distance between dots).Make sure Pounce attachment is set correctly in forward position(cut out).Do some tests set speed and force accordingly to thickens of media.
