How to I install this?

I need a little help for install please;
How do I attach the trim cap/acrylic face to an existing sign face (polycarbonate or acrylic) without compromising the illuminated look? Does acrylic glue weld to the back part of the trim cap?

as far as I know, little squares of clear acrylic welded to the polycarb, and use those to weld the trimcap too
