Hp 335 latex blank / white area

Hello all
On my mutho using flexi when I print a panel that is 54 by 110 inch in the middel of the panel I have about 4 feet of empty space / no artwork the head stops and it fast-forwards the media to the artwork that needs to be printed
On the hp335 today I printed 21x21 feet flexi gave me 5 panels
3 panel have 3 feet artwork on the beginning and 3 feet on the end
Now I have 15feet of empty space / blank
Why is the print head keeps going back and forth is there a setting I need to check on hp335 or flexi

That is normal behavior for latex printers.

not very smart the heater will be on at 116 Celsius 240 deg on for over 120 min the maintenance carriage will keep spooling the felt thinking print head needs cleaning what a waste
Hp And flexi needs to get a fix asap
