HP 360 Take-up Reel Assembly on a 310?

I have a HP 310 latex that's new to me and acquired a HP 360 that I'm told needs a power supply. It's been in storage a while so I will probably just use it for parts.
My 310 doesn't have the take-up reel assembly and wondering if I can install the one form the 360 on my 310. (Obviously with the right size spindle.)
Part numbers seem the same for most of it aside form the wider pieces.

It might be possible to modify the wider pieces to fit the 310.
Only exception seems to be the take-up reel sensor module which shows as n/a on the 310.

Wonder if there's a need for some sort of firmware update for the reel to work or if it will just sense it's presence when plugged in.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?
Is my best bet to just part out the 360 on ebay?
Is the power supply repairable vs getting a new unit? (eg replacing capacitors/transistors) I've repairs some smaller 110v power supplies this way.

You can just transfer it and plug it in. Works straight away. All the parts are same excluding spindle and those two shafts.

Why not reactivating the 360 using the psu of your 310? One additional curing module, the photospectrometer, the Advance sensor, print zone light, faster printspeed…

well.. i really didn't think of that to be honest. :)
I don't know the condition of the 360 other than I'm told the PSU was bad.

The 310 I have was purchased only needing a new carriage belt which I've ordered.
Either way I need print heads and inks as both of these have been sitting for a couple months. My only concern would be putting the working PSU into the 360 and something happened to it, then I'd have to buy one.
The 310 looks to be in much better condition. 360 looks dogged but could just be sitting a while.

Forget that 360, you are missing a little more than just a working PSU in that box.

i figured as much. I'm told it's all there... (possibly disassembled)
I pick it up tomorrow. If anything it'll be worth the price for the pickup reel parts and anything i can slavage as backup parts for my 310
Can you tell from that photo what i'm missing so I can be sure to ask about it? Spindles not shown but they're there.
I didn't think to but i could check the parts list in the manual to see what's missing.
