HP FB500 Printhead Cleaning

Does anyone know if you can change the time that the printer does its "lengthy" automated cleaning? Mine cleans at a pretty inconvenient time in the morning. I'm also assuming that there is no way to change the frequency of the "shorter" cleanings. Seems like my machine cleans itself all day. It's something I've grown accustom to but if I could change these things it would be nice. Let me know.

It's just under Settings>Auto Maintenance Time

Mine is set to 2:00am but often I'll turn the machine off at night and when not in use, to save it using more ink from cleaning than printing.

I've only had my FB500 a few months. IS it safe to turn it off at the end of the day...to save ink during cleaning?

If you're going to turn it off, make sure there is still power to the vacuum system or you'll lose all the ink in the heads every time you do it.

I've been turning mine off at night for 18 months and haven't noticed any ill effects. It asks to do a purge and wipe when you start it up and it cleans itself a dozen times during the day anyway. I have a UPS connected to the power so that it always has vacuum even during a power outage.
