HP Flexi print / cut freezing

So today i downloaded avast antivirus and since then (maybe coincidence) when i go to the CUT tab or PRINT tab to send a job to the production manager flexi print just freezes and i have to go to task manager and end task. its doing it repeatedly i was able to print a job by opening it straight from the production manager but this wont work for cutting nor is it the way i want to do things.

any suggestions?

Temporary turn off real-time protection or disable your Avast and try again to see how trouble goes.
That may come from Avast blocked port that Flexi uses.
