Saw great video on how to rebuild the cr278A cleaning cassette from a mail-order kit listed on ebay (item 274765453020

Well, it would say its great - I did it.

We did this kit as it allows anybody to rebuild the cleaning cassette themselves, without posting it back to us, and it's cheap to post internationally.

Nice idea that can surely help.
What about ressetting the chip so that the counter is right to know about the next maintenance as if a guenuine would have been installed ?

The printer accepts it as a new item.

It's explained in the video.

Covering a small area with a tiny while sticky label, does the trick.

The printer may ask for a new funnel. But again this can be got around but a small white label covering the area written to by the printer.
