HP L28500 Media Edge Holders, discontinued?

Hi folks, wondering if anyone knows of a reasonable source for the media edge holders for my L28500. I've included a pic. I've talked to my vendor who can't get them and says that they are apparently discontinued from HP? This blows my mind, the printer isn't that old. I've found them here or there (Amazon, etc) but the price is in the $200 ballpark which seems a bit outrageous for these little guys. So I thought I'd check here, thanks for your help

I have just tried to use these edge holders on my old printer and realized that the carriage crashes into them slightly.
Maybe because the sagging is due to the age? Is there anything I can check an fix to raise the carriage?
