Question HP Latex 115 Printhead Error

Hey everyone, I’ve been reading through a bunch of threads on here about printhead reseat errors on the Latex 115 and have tried pretty much everything suggested before posting, so hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.

Started with the printer telling me the LC/LM head needed replacing after a head strike. Put a new one in, went through all the setup steps, it cleared the error, and I printed one job perfectly. Right after that it came back with a reseat error on the same head.
I’ve gone through the reseat process multiple times. During the printhead alignment it drops a big glob of both LC and LM ink onto the vinyl and at one point left a full streak of ink across the platen that I had to manually wipe up. I’ve cleaned the encoder strip, cleaned the capping station, and ran maintenance cycles. Still the same error.

I’ve seen posts on here suggesting the trail of parts to check is trailing cable, then flex cables, then carriage PCA, but no one has mentioned how. Has anyone replaced the carriage PCA and have a guide that walks you through the process? Thanks
