HP finally rolled out the new "1500" with the tech from R-series.
At least something new, double cmyk printheads, white and 600lb rolls.

They have one in their booth at the Printing United Expo. They weren’t printing while I was there. Hope to see it run tomorrow.

I don’t understand why all these companies bring all this equipment to these shows to just sit there. Are they scared of what people will see/think? People want to see it work. We’re not buying it for a show piece!

I got one unit in my showroom since several weeks and tried it extensively.
Really excited on print speed! and quality!
Small text is extremely sharp compared to 3000 and 1500. Speed is close to 3000, but not reaching. Quality in 4pass prints indoor quality with unrivaled stability.
