Was printing on Window Perf today (Sunday) and just ran about 100 feet in various jobs. Changed media to photo paper, did another run, then switched back to perf - and the problems started.
About halfway through the perf job, heard a strange noise in carriage movement area. Watched through window and didn't see any smearing etc but then all of the sudden, carriage moved just about to the right edge and threw a 42:03 code.
Have had this before, so I powered off machine and manually moved the carriage head back to the right. I then powered the whole machine off from back switch, waited 60 seconds and powered back on. During the warm up /reset phase, the machine stopped and threw an 86:01 error and would not move the carriage.
Tried to power down again and reset and same thing. Each time I power down and then back up, I get this 86:01 error. Luckily I have an extended warranty, but can't do anything until Monday morning.
Anyone have any ideas or tips to try?
