HP Latex 570 - refill question

I recently purchased a used 570 and went through hoops and loops to make it work. The latest firmware has a glitch, and the printer will throw the error 79 every time I try to copy media profiles or alter existing.
The HP forced me to pay for on-site service, and then later on, they made it official.

I have HP370 and the inks from the 3-liter tanks refill the intermediate cartridges periodically. I don't see it on my 570. It was very close to the point where the intermediate cartridge could not be refilled, and I forced the refill.
Is it normal? Should they refill when the level drops to the no-return point?

Can you post a picture of the ink status screen? If the printer thinks the 775ml cartridges are the intermediate tanks and they are set to refill they should have a lock icon on top of them.

You can disable the refill on each of them individually, once they are replaced it will go back to refilling them automatically. I think the printer removes the lock icon for any of the intermediate tanks that have the refill disabled.

The other option is under the Diagnostics Menu. This option will basically set the printer to act like a 560 where it isn't aware of the 3 liter boxes at all. I don't believe they even show up in the ink status window.

I see you are in NJ. We are located in northern NJ and we sell and service the low volume HP Latex line of printers (100/300/500/630/700/730/800/830 series). If you need any other repair or parts for the 370 or 570 give us a call or send us an email to support@thegrs.com.

It's a silly question, but where can you enable or disable it? I can't find this option in the manual.

It is in the user guide.

But if yours looks like this then just let it do it's thing.
