HP Latex 630 Issues

Hi all, we have purchased a new 630 about 4 weeks ago. Straight from the get go it prints blurry edges vertically. The installer recommended several manual head alignments will eventually fine tune it to be perfect.

I have done endless head alignments, upped the optimiser, tried all types of profiles and pass settings & cleaned the encoder strip but the prints are still constantly blurry vertically. It's causing our plotter to cut off as the ink isn't laying accurately as well.

The tech has escalated the issue to HP, however any advice or similar experiences would be great.

Photos attached.

Cheers.

Man that sounds like the tech was just trying to get home, I hate that for you. Hopefully someone has some good answers, I've been eyeing this to replace my 560.

I’m hoping I don’t run into any issues with this machine. I have one of these machines coming next week cause I’ve had nothing but issues with my 570. I really hope you can get it figured out. Sorry to hear you’re having problems right away with a brand new machine.

Trying cloning your Standard Vinyl media profile and turn off your Optical Media Advance Sensor. These issues dont look exactly like mine but I was having issues with the printer printing over its previous pass because media wasnt moving correctly.
